When a mains operated PIR Motion Sensor is connected to the Industrial Controller, a specific area or zone can be automatically switched ON & OFF by detecting the presence of a person or people in that area. This is very cost effective and efficient because the heaters are only switched ON when needed. This greatly reduces the cost of running the heaters and saves money. This device must be connected to the controller by a qualified electrician.
The motion sensor (PIR) can be connected to the Industrial controller one per channel. The motion sensor's ON time can be adjusted from 5 sec to 5 mins this is found on the underside of the motion sensor housing. This should be set by the electrician during installation.
